Shweta is a Design Consultant of Chikankari embroidery. She completed her graduation in Arts but as she belongs to Lucknow her interest carried her in this field and she did her specialization in Chikankari and did Certificate Course in Textile Printing from Meera’s polytechnic for Women’s Lucknow . Later she completed Diploma in TEXTILE DESIGN from International Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT).
The embroidery is done over the printed design pattern using needle and thread. The artisan creates traditional patterns using different techniques. Different types of stitches can be made in one product. Like Bakhiya, Murri, Keel, Fenda, Kengan, Jali work, Ghass Patti.
Shweta Kaistha has number of elite clients and as a designer consultant she has given technical development workshop at various places.
